How, What, Where, and Why

Postby gdot » Sat Feb 27, 2010 2:31 pm

Dear Ramble Crew,

I was just browsing the web because I heard about the earthquake in Chile and I stumbled across your site. I have a boat load of question but first, You really drove from North Carolina to Argentina? How many of you are there ?, How Long did it take? Were you afraid something would happen? Damn I’m grew up in the hood and I wouldn’t dare. I think that’s dope. I just want to know how did you get around Columbia? Also my prayer go out too ya’ll and I hope all was well. But Man! That must have been one hell of a ride. I would have been nervous just going to T.J. Let alone traveling all the way to South America. Its very very interesting and I would love to hear How you made it around Columbia? Really! How? Your like a super Human Nav System. Is Columbia really dangerous for Americans or is it all hype? I couldn’t imagine I tried to map quest California to Chile because it seems like you cant drive straight thru but you pulled it off. Amazing. Please email me soon?

Thanks for the Kudoz,

We really did drive. We shipped the truck from Panama to Colombia. If you look through the site you can find all sorts of stories about the trip. Colombia is great. Check out the site, we try to talk about all aspects of the trip in our posts. It took a year to make the trip. There were two of us and a dog.
